Why Companies Add "4 years" Experience to their Requirements?

Most companies add "4 years" experience to their requirements because they want you to have a solid base of knowledge in your field. They want you to be able to do the job without having to learn the basics of the job right away. If you don't have 4 years experience, then they might believe that your education was not enough, or maybe they just want some extra time before hiring someone new. The most common answer to this question just as I said is that companies want to know if you have the skills they need, and if you do, then they want you to have experience.

The reason for this is simple: If your resume doesn't include enough information about your work history (or any work history at all), then hiring managers don't even know if you have the skills they're looking for. And if they don't know that, then there's no way to tell whether or not you're right for the job. So yes, 4 years of experience is required because it lets hiring managers know that you've been doing what they need done for a while now — without having to ask or check references. My question is do you get the 4 years experience from your school of study?
