Some bloggers may be very funny. There are sometimes that I will visit a blog and all I will see is fake news. Most of them post news that are not real and it is not a very good thing. Well, the government is not trying their possible best to make sure that they arrest everyone who is spreading fake news either online or offline. Fake news does not have any kind of good that it does to the society. It misinforms people and they will not follow the right path. We should learn to stay away from blogs like that if we know one of them.

Do you know one particular reason who some websites spread fake news? It is because they need money. They know that they will get traffic and make money form Adsense when they write a very captivating headline and buttress it with some lies which is not true just because they want to make money. This is what the majority of bloggers out there do. It is because they just want attention and I don't think there is any other thing that they want to benefit aside from the fact that they will have a lot of traffic.

Some bloggers knowingly spread fake news to increase site traffic, amplify political agendas, monetize clicks with ads, undermine opponents, promote distrust in institutions for influence, or validate beliefs of niche groups. Highly emotional fake content fuels user engagement. For sites relying on digital ads, the key metric is impressions rather than accuracy. Spreading misinformation, whether intentionally deceptive or not fact-checking for confirmation bias, unfortunately achieves blogger's goals of self-promotion and income.

There are many different reasons for why certain kind of bloggers may spread incorrect information. We must remember that blogging is a kind of tool that could be used by many propagandists to spread propaganda. This is why many people choose this medium to accomplish their goals.

A blogger may have a specific agenda

There are many bloggers who have a specific agenda. This is why they use their blog to spread fake information. They may be supporting a specific group and this is why they may publish content that may mislead people.

A blogger may be getting paid for spreading fake information

This is also one of the most important reason. A blogger may be getting paid to spread such kind of information. It might be possible that a specific group of people might be looking for bloggers who have a good ranking on search results and this is why they may pay them.

Blogs also publish sponsored posts

This is also related to the first one. I have seen many blogs publishing sponsored posts. Such kind of content is published on behalf of a company. This is why you will find it quite common for many blogs to publish articles that favour HYIPs and other business "opportunities".

To drive traffic, most bloggers spread fake news to drive clicks and traffic to their website, the problem with this approach is that it is hardly sustainable because you're building a reputation and you'll be known as that blog that always post fake news and you'll lose traffic.

The best way to grow your blog is the hardest way, posting useful contents for your readers and helping them solve their problems, you can also leverage paid media like advertising and guest posting to drive organic traffic to your blog, you can also build a following on Facebook and move them back to your blog.
