Why does it take so long to appreciate employee's efforts?

Employees are naturally motivated to perform at their best and are often willing to work hard for the company. But it can be difficult for employers to see this because they don't have a clear understanding of what's going on behind the scenes. Another reason is that employers have been trained not to understand that employees are people and people are different from machines. If you're an employer and you see your employees as machines, then you will never get them to do anything cool or interesting or challenging. You won't even know how to motivate them.

Many executives are surprised by the fact that most employees want to do their best, but they don't know how to tell them why this is important. If you want your employees to keep up their good work, it's important for you as an employer to understand how your employees think about themselves and their jobs.

If you have ever worked for a company that did not value employee's efforts, then you know how it feels to feel ignored. And if you have had employees who have been recognized for their hard work, then you know how rewarding it can be to see them rewarded.

No one wants to work for an employer that doesn't respect their work and expects them to put in long hours in order to get recognition. But it doesn't always happen that way. Sometimes, it takes time and effort on the part of an employee before they are recognized for their efforts.

Why does it take so long? Because many people don't realize how valuable employees really are until they see them at their best. When someone works hard and gives their best, we usually notice immediately what they have done. And when someone does something well or makes an error, we also notice quickly whether or not they are doing it again. But what about when someone doesn't do anything at all? Or when someone is working hard but still isn't noticed?

The problem with humans everywhere is that people always want to look at the bad side than the good side that's the truth. So even if you are genuinely working uour head out in a workplace and the manager is noticing all that they might not voice out. It will shock you that you just fumble at just a thing and that one thing will so be amplified by the manager.

This become even worse if the person at the helm of affairs isnt the owner of the business, what you might get in return might be envy and hatred for just loving and doing your work rightly.

So it is natural human tendencies they are always threatened by another uniqueness and want to see you down. They just believe keeping quiet with your good works will make them feel better. someone like me I don't get bothered provided jm paid my dues you can keep your praises to yourself.

It is truly so hard to find an employer or even the managers and supervisors congratulating employees for good work done. Yet this is a very good thing that usually motivates most employees to do better next time.

I think one thing that makes an employer not to congratulate an employee is because of the belief that if you appreciate someone's effort, they get poorer next time. Which is truly a case for those who gain too much pride due to the praises.

Another reason could be that the employers themselves or the managers/supervisors are really edgy people who don't appreciate other people's efforts. Probably because they themselves are going through so much pressure to deliver good results.

All in all, as a person in power, you need to learn how to appreciate your employees and motivate them. It all starts with you building a character of appreciation within you. Then you can start appreciating other people.
