Be the Boss yourself

Be the boss yourself.

Another key benefit of having your own business is that you will generally be able to set your own hours as you wish, without asking permission from anyone since you are the boss. Of course, in practice things are sometimes a little different, as you may be forced to work longer and more irregular hours. However, in any case you will have more flexibility. Another important element of entrepreneurship is the decision-making part. In your own business you make the rules. You say how the work should be done, you make the decisions. So you can do what you think will bring you immediate benefit without anyone's approval and you can accordingly cut what you consider unnecessary.

I love the fact that you acknowledged that things might not be that Eldorado when you switch from employee to self employed. As a business person, you might have to work for longer hours but the consolation is that you are building your own vision instead of using your creativity and time to build someone else's vision.

Why so many people switched from paid employment to entrepreneurship was because they want have that freedom to be in control of their lives and even when they have to work for longer hours, they know that they decided to do so ans are not compelled.
