Beard dandruff is the most common type of dandruff that men can get. It's caused by an overgrowth of skin cells, and it's a common problem for men because their beards are often dry and prone to flaking. If you have any type of hair on your face, chances are you're going to get beard dandruff at some point in your life.

Poor hygiene & heredity are the 2 primary causes of beard dandruff.
Poor hygiene can include using unclean razors or poor quality shaving products or not washing your face after each shave or just not taking good care of your face in general. Heredity is another possible cause. if you have a family history of dandruff, it's unlikely that you'll never experience it yourself.

The best way to treat beard dandruff is with a daily regime of topical treatments such as cleansing shampoos and conditioners for the face and beard area. You should also cleanse your skin with warm water every day to help prevent bacterial growth on your skin, which can lead to breakouts down the line!
