These are the recent incidents in the crypto market in recent times. All of these events led common investors to lose a lot of money.

One of the primary reasons why things like these happen is because cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and there is no central authority. In a lack of central authority, common investors become prone to scams.

While it is less likely that banks and financial institutions will scam you because they are controlled by central banks and central banks are controlled by the governments, getting scammed with crypto is common because they exist only in the virtual world.

This is winter time for the crypto market, and the value of crypto assets is terribly low. Bitcoin which was once $68K is not about $16K. This is the time to build crypto assets, building crypto assets means you invest in cryptocurrencies. However, you also become prone to scams.

If crypto lose the concept of being decentralized this means the crypto currency could become paper currency whit a central bank that could determine its value and this could be good and bad in the same time because the lose of this concept means lose of the hole concept of the cryptocurrency which is transparency of the transactions and also possibility to win in the bear market or green market depend on the action you are doing, like not for example trading pairs like EUR or TRY which is not much profitable due to a little influctuation in the price, but LTC and ETH could have big influctuation in the price. This is what I think about the subject, but having scam coins will not even end even cryptocurrency will not be decentralized, means @Fufi has reason it needs to contunie but regulation for it.
