What I mean by a personal ad is that you will solicit it yourself. Take for example a video that you will make about your workout. You can do the workout in a gym, a park or even anywhere. How about doing your workout video inside a sporting goods store? You can sample their devices and equipment just like a model.
I know of some YouTubers who are raking in money by soliciting ads to be included in their video. One vlogger who uploads reviews of restaurants is earning so much because he is paid when he features the restaurant. He gets sponsors on the strength of his subscribers that is nearing 10,000 already. Come to think of it. You are making videos for your YouTube channel so why not make one with a sponsor. Even political candidates can be the sponsor of your videos. That kind of video would be decently earning for you.
