Every employee or worker in a recognized business organization wishes to be promoted by his superiors or manager. Moreover managers and superiors in a business organization should understand that employees or workers promotion is not a random activity or an action that should be done randomly but rather it is an intellectual interested matter which must be taken critically so as not to make conflicts and disagreement to escalate within the business organization. Employees and workers promotion should not be done based on discrimination, bias, and favoritism but whether it must be done on the grounds of hard work, sincerity, and integrity.

Promotion is a good form of employees motivation only if it is done on the right grounds and strategy. Promotion of employees must be done with agreement of all members constituting the business organization. In essence the employee or employees that is being promoted must actually deserve the promotion.

Promoting employees in a business organization has to be the duty and responsibility of senior management but it is not good when employees are being promoted randomly or being promoted based on the grounds of favouritism and discrimination. Any employee or worker in the business organization that is promoted it is important that such individual deserve the promotion, if such employee does not deserve the promotion and yet he or she is promoted it can absolutely distrupt they unanimous agreement of the members making up the business organization. An employee that is promoted must be a hardworking and industrious individual who is deserving of promotion. When employees or workers are promoted on the right grounds it can go a long way in motivating other employees to be hardworking and industrious so that they can become promoted themselves.

This is why it's important to take note of every employees performance on daily activities or project, exams or assessments should be conducted to to know each employees knowledge on issues concerning the organization, it will really be bad and even have a great consequence if you end up promoting a worker who's not worth it while leaving out the important one due to error or negligence, it will tell on the business. You can place someone who is transparent enough in charge of this

Promotion doesn't just come. There are some things to put in place before promotion can be done. The following may be some of the factors to be considered before a worker may be due for promotion.

The first is the person's hardwork and attitude to work. There is need to make sure that whom we promote is very hardworking. This will encourage others to be also hardworking.

Other factors will include their reputation. They must of be of good character apart from being hardworking. And lastly, they should have been in the company for quite some years before promotion.

Company that wants to promote its workers should make sure that it has all what it requires to get that promotion done. For instance, promotion will surely come with some salaries increment, bonuses and other incentives. This will make the promotion better.

In some situations, promotion may even attract traveling out. All these need money to plan. That is why a company must make sure that there is enough for the company before they start thinking about how to promote their staff especially those that deserve being promoted among the workers that work.

Yes, promotion should be done with so much integrity and the person being promoted should actually deserve it. It could be due to their skills and experience or because they have added some education qualifications that gives them extra skills for the company.

Promotion should be done with transparency where each employee is informed about the opportunity and asked to express their interest in that new position. Then the qualifications are given and the person chose should actually have them. So that you can explain to the others why the person qualified the most.
