Forex Trading in Low Volatility Session

Low volatility session are type of session where you have very low movements in the market and most times market tend to range in this time and rarely trend but that does not mean there isn't opportunities in these sessions, there are even traders that trade exclusively during these periods.

You should pay attention to the Asian sessions if you plan to trade in non volatile markets and also check to make sure here isn't any news coming up else you can get cooked.

Another thing is to make sure you use a tight stop loss as the market is to slow for scalping you can only take range trade from support to resistance and vice versa.

Yes, the Asian session is generally very low in volatility. And I think that the time spent there for trading is not worth the profit received (if you manage to earn it at all). The price moves much better in the European and American sessions and for me it is much more profitable to spend time there.
