The most vital thing that makes any business sustainable is the growth of the business. And for every business to grow, it must set goals. For a new business that is just starting, it has to hit the ground and running at once as far as growth is concerned. Within three months of a new business being operational, it should aim to achieve the following goals.

1) Steady growth in the number of new patrons each month: A new business should aim to have at the very least 15% new clients every month from it's first month to the third month.

2) Sustained increase in repeat clients every month: A new business should aim to ensure that 50% of the patrons/clients it has within the space of three months are retained to become repeat customers.

3) Sustained increase in monthly revenue: Every new business should strive to have a marginal increase of 12% every month in their revenue within three months of operations.

One of many goals that a business owner needs to set is to make sure that the customers so frequent his business. This can only be achieved by engaging in some acts. One of the first thing to do to achieve is this is to make sure that we sell quality things.

Naturally, customers will surely visit any business owner that always sells quality over quantity. That is why it advisable for a new business to be selling just the original products alone.

Yes you should watch the number of your patronage they don't have to reduce but increase that means you are growing, check the purchase records too, know how much service or products you are selling out too. This will determine if you are doing well, reducing or just there and it will help you to up n your game and do more. Either way can motivate you but one is better. Always keep track of your business for better or improved results.
