As your company grows and expands, you'll inevitably run into business competitors that don't appreciate your progress. These competitors might try to sabotage your business by spreading lies or pressuring your suppliers to stop working with you.

What should you do if this happens to you? The answer isn't always clear. Here are some tips for how to respond to business competitors threats:

1. Research their claims. If a competitor is saying negative things about your product, it's important to know whether their claims are valid. It's not enough to just assume they're wrong—you need evidence. Take the time to research and verify their claims before taking any action.

2. Find out who they're talking with. It's also important to find out who they're talking with and how they're getting their message across. Are they spreading rumors on social media? Calling your suppliers and telling them negative things about you? Knowing what they're doing will help you figure out how best to respond.

3. Respond appropriately, but don't make things worse: If a competitor is spreading lies or sabotaging your efforts, it's important to respond appropriately. But be careful that you don't make things worse by responding in an aggressive or unprofessional way. Try not to get personal.

There is always two sides of a coin and two ways to look at any situation in the life. You can take it negatively or have a positive outlook about the same. Negative outlook solves nothing. It will instead drain off all your energy and hamper your own growth. And that would not be good for your business.
So, it's always wise and advisable to have a positive outlook and handle things with all positivity.
You have mentioned all valid points in the post to handle your business competition and competitors. And the most important thing is to handle them appropriately. They are trying to provoke you and if they succeed to do so, they have an edge. If you overreact to the allegations or rumors and negative marketing, you end up validating their accusations. And they get more opportunities to defame and malign your business.
So, stay composed and handle it well. Give utmost importance to customer service and care.If your customers are happy, your business will flourish. No amount of rumors and negative marketing will help. In fact it would slowly backfire on them.
So, focus more on your business and it's improvement than the competition.
It's a positive thing that you have a competition. That means that you are doing good. Having a competition will keep you on your best foot trying hard to improve and stay in competition. A monopoly in the market is not good in long run either for the business owner or for the consumers. You need a saturation point and boredom.

Competitors are nothing but normal people when it comes to business. There must be some people that will want to undermine whatever efforts a business owner may he showing in order to win over his customers and eventually frustrate him off the business. It takes some steps to win owner the efforts of competition.

We don't need to be bothered by what they say about us in the first instance. If what we do is very clear and if there is no shady dealing, then we can be well assured that people won't tarnish our images. There is room for propaganda and rumor. We don't need to waste time by responding to every claim.

If the rumour is now in form of physical threatening or if it involves battery and assault. In fact, we can take the matter far if the matter is tantamount to libel or slander. This can be done by reporting to the law enforcement agents. There have been reports of different cases of business rival laying ambush for themselves. Some even go traditional by making sure they kill their rivals through metaphysical means.

If the worst comes to the worst, we can even change location for them.
