YouTube creators who are part of the Partner Program can monetize their videos with ads.

The amount of money different creators make per video varies based on a variety of factors.

We spoke with dozens of creators who shared how much money they've earned on YouTube.

This is the latest installment of Insider's YouTube money logs, where creators break down how much they earn.

Social-media creators who are part of the YouTube Partner Program can earn money off their videos with Google-placed ads.

To start earning money directly from YouTube, creators must have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past year.

Once they reach that threshold, they can apply for YouTube's Partner Program, which allows creators to start monetizing their channels through ads, subscriptions, and channel memberships.

Creators on YouTube can earn their money a number of ways, from sponsorships to selling merchandise.

But revenue from Google ads is a big chunk of many YouTube stars' incomes.

Nate O'Brien, a personal finance YouTuber with 1.1 million subscribers, earned about $444,000 in ad revenue in a year period, for example.

Different video topics can also lead to different pay rates.

For Andrei Jikh, making videos about cryptocurrency has helped boost his CPM rate, or how much money advertisers pay YouTube per 1,000 ad views (before YouTube's cut). His channel's average playback-based CPM rate is $32.

His average RPM rate, which is how much revenue a creator earns per every 1,000 video views, is $17.

But YouTube creators with far fewer followers can also make decent money. Nano influencer Jen Lauren, who had 1,900 YouTube subscribers when she spoke with Insider, earned $195 in a recent month.

When it comes to a viral video, how much money a YouTube creator makes can vary wildly. We spoke with YouTubers who broke down how much they'd made on videos with 1 million views, and their answers ranged from about $3,400 to $40,000, depending on the type of content and viewer demographics.

In all, Insider has spoken with dozens of YouTube creators about how much each of them made per month, on videos with 100,000 or 1 million views, and other financial topics.

How much money YouTubers make on a single video

Creators on YouTube often have no idea how much money they will earn off a single video after they upload it to the platform.

Many creators also try to avoid swearing or copyrighted music in their content because those factors can increase a video's chance of getting flagged by YouTube and demonetized.

So if a creator does everything right in the eyes of YouTube, how much can they expect to make at the top end?

We asked 17 YouTube creators what the most money they'd made of a single video was.

How much money YouTubers make for 100,000 views

How much money a single YouTube video with 100,000 views makes from Google-placed ads depends on the content of the video and the audience who watches.

I am not disputing the fact that you tubers earn this much like you stated in your article, but I just want people to know some things about YouTube job, it is not as easy as it looks, I am not trying to discourage anyone that has the interest of trying it out, who knows, you might also make your own millions too from there. As a matter of fact, a lot of people has become rich with this work, but you must be prepared for the challenges, because it usually hard to earn from it if you are just getting started as a beginner

Youtube is not a get rich quick scheme. As far as I know, the average CPM rate of youtube is around $1-$2 and as far as I know, the CPM rate of youtube depends on the country where your visitors are coming from. You would also need to fulfill the minimum requirements to get your channel monetized in order to become a partner.

The money that youtube creators make on their video can be based upon several factors. The topic of the video also define the payrates. For example, subjects like finance and cryptocurrency can boost the ad rate, as they attract a larger audience. How much money a single video makes depends on the content of your video and the viewers who watches it. The watch time, video type, length are among other factors that are included as well.

Nice one, I wish I also had the interest to become a YouTuber at least I could have make some money but unfortunately it is not on my area of interest to become a YouTuber for now and don't even think I might even consider it in the future, instead of me to go into a YouTube business I rather think of how I can become expert in my trading skill to make money.. There are a lot of ways to make money on the internet and the best thing we have to do is to check out those that are just suitable for us.

This is actually a very well detailed summary of everything that happens on the YouTube monetization platform. The money that you are going to make in total is going to depend on so many factors that is beyond just the amount of views that you are getting

This is a profound analysis on how YouTube operates. But to be honest, it's easier said than done. To garner active member to watch, like and subscribe, is a pretty hard work. Though, nothing particularly is easy out there. But inorder to be a successful YouTuber you must be ready to give everything, must importantly your time.
