How to avoid adding weight during celebration period

It is always during the celebration period, just like the one we are in that people eats a lot and gain more weight. But you can still eat without adding even a pound to your weight. Experts are of the views that doing the below tips will help keep you away from weight increase. You just have to be consistent with these tips:

  • Start by sipping on water, this is to endeavor you stay hydrated. This will help you stay full and prevent putting all you see into your mouth
  • Enjoy your celebration by inculcating into your plan exercises. You can start your day by visiting the gyms. It will be fun spending about 30mins to 1 hour in the gym daily
  • Resist daily eating out; rather prepare your meals and snacks. This will help you eat for the celebration period but healthily too.
  • You can’t stop drinking out-rightly but you can help your waistline not to expand by taking lower calorie alcohol options. It will help you avoid the weight gain
  • Reduce your intake of refined carbs and added sugar: eating these will keep you craving for them more. And that means getting more calories into your system. So take less of them if you can’t cut them totally out.

Hi Augusta. Your post is very interesting and informative. The truth is that during this festive period we tend to eat more food and sweets and as a result, we put on weight. The tips you mention in your post are very helpful and I am sure that if we follow your tips, we will not gain weight. Well, as far as I am concerned, during this festive season I try to keep fit by avoiding eating too much and by exercising twice a day. It really works!

I think what you are doing is portion control which is a great way of controlling your calories. what makes one add a pound is when your daily calories or calories is up to 3500. So if one can reduce these calories still like 2000 and still try to burn them off to 1000 daily it will help to keep one at a very healthy weight.

When it comes to festive and birthday for many people refuse to eat cake or drinking coca-cola will seem to somebody as a strange decision as it is required to depend on their point of view to eat cakes and drink coca-cola and if you refuse they say: Are you diabetic? If the answer is no they will ask you have to celebrate this day by eating this unhealthy food. But if you have your personality you may insist on refusing by saying prevention is better than medicines but most people do not like head ache and accepts finally.

Well this is where principle should come in. if you have the principle of not joking with your weight and want to try by all means to keep your weight at the barest minimum you would achieve it. All you need for is to avoid where there will be a lot of junk foods with high calories. you can attend the functions but resist the urge to be a glutton

During this festive period though many people will like to eat to the bream but they should also remember that health is wealth . Without good health there will not be a way to enjoy the wealth one had acquired at all.

During this time people should run away from anything that is sugary like drinking of things like cocoa cola, eaten of too much of meat that contain fat.
Stop eating those Can food because many of it contains chemical which can also affect body and also make some one
