There is always the need for supervisory role as an employer or an employee of a workplace. The role comes naturally to an employer but an employee might be assigned the role. But bottom line is that if you are in the position of supervision then, you must exhibit the right skills that comes with the job

As one in the position of supervision, they are key supervisory roles that are compulsory you must take on. They are:

Educating
As a supervisor you must naturally resume the position of an educator to reach others how to carry their job effectively.

Sponsoring
You would need to sponsor others on different job demanding roles

Coaching
You would resume the role of a coach. You would guide others on how to go about their duties and otherwise

Counseling
You would be a counselor, taking up both work as related problems of the other workers to help them perform at par

Directing
You have to perform the role of directing as well.
