Marginalisation of some staff in the workplace is real. And this kind of attitude can reduce the productivity of the affected staff. This is why it needs to be combated as soon as a manager noticed the traits.

The truth is that almost all staff want to be heard and given the opportunity to express self than being restrictive it will become a big problem.

So how you as a manager combat this in the workplace.

Give attention to the problem of all employees. No staff want to be left alone to carry out a problem that would have been resolved easily through collective efforts

Let all staff be heard, try not to marginalised any one especially when it comes to their opinions and views on things of importance.

Avoid making it obvious that you wouldn't be buying some staff ideas toward a certain thing suggested by some members of staff. Act more In a subtle way.
