Dropshipping requires you to build your own store and sell products from your store while your suppliers directly ship the products to your buyers. One of the highest expenses of running a dropshipping business is the build a store. A better alternative is to use ecommcerce marketplace. Instead of creating your own store, you can use third party marketplace to run dropshipping business, for instance, you can do dropshipping on ebay or even Facebook Marketplace, Instagram Shop, Facebook Shop, Etsy, etc. However, dropshipping on third-party marketplaces also have limited options. While eBay allows dropshipping, selling products on Amazon requires purchasing or manufacturing them before sending them to Amazon for fulfillment. Amazon does not have dropshipping option.
