How to Keep Your Job and Your Boss's Respect

Loyalty is a hard thing to come by in the modern workplace. It's even harder to show. If you want to keep your job and your boss's respect, here are some things you can do:

1. Don't gossip or spread rumors about coworkers. Your boss will love you if you're the one who keeps quiet about what other people are doing wrong, not the ones who gossip about it.

2. Be on time for work every day. If your boss wants to know how much a project will cost, he needs to see that information before he starts it. Don't make him wait because you didn't have time in class.

3. If someone else at work makes a mistake, don't get defensive or angry with them—instead try to help them learn from their mistake so it doesn't happen again (or at least doesn't happen as often).
