While it is comparatively easy to learn a new language in a language script which you already know like Latin or Roman script, it is usually more difficult to learn a new language in another script, especially if there is no one to teach or help with the language. What is the best way to learn to read a new language script, is it better to get a book for learning the new language, or is watching videos sufficient? Has anyone here learned to read a completely new language in the last few years. If yes, how much time did you take to become proficient in the new language?
