Caretakers are the people that helps someone to take good care of one’s properties, it might be land, house, cars or even a business. Doing this job, there are some ways to earn money from it and in Nigeria today, a lot of people are actually picking interest in it due to the massive profits being made from it. Imagine someone looking after your house that you rented out for people, after being paid an agent fee at the first year, you or the tenants wouldn’t know that he or she is still receiving an extra pay every year for each tenants in that house. This is how they do it, let’s assume you told the caretaker to rent out each apartment for a sum of one hundred thousand naira, when he gets to the people that are about to rent it, he might choose to tell them that the rent fee is one hundred and twenty thousand naira per year, meanwhile, the person would not know the original fee while the landlord would not also find out because he will make sure he does not allow any connection between both of you in order to avoid being exposed, so they are making a lot of income in different ways from doing this work.
