If you want to use social media to market your business, products, or services, you will need to follow the following strategies

Build Audience: Your social media promotion will work only when you have an audience. You can build an audience by publishing valuable content and running ads. Give reasons to follow by offering valuable content. If your page is full of products, people will not follow.

Improve social media visibility: You should use multiple social media platforms to increase social media visibility. You will also have to build tons of content to improve visibility. Make sure your name is consistent and that you use the same profile picture

Use high-quality images: The images you use on social media should not be pixelated and have watermarks that are not yours. Your images should also be relevant to the content you're posting.

No to self-promotion: Too much self-promotion is as bad as no promotion. Instead of too much self-promotion, publish quizzes, contests, memes, and so on.

The first requirement to market on social media is to build an audience, building audience means building followers on your social pages. However, you need to share useful, informative and interesting content in order to build audience. Social media users will not like and follow random pages, they will follow only when the page provide valuable content (the only exception to this rule is if the page belongs to a celebrity). Therefore, in order to become successful with social media marketing, you also need to be a good content creator. If you are in a bit hurry, you can run ads for your social pages to reach more people so that you will have better visibility thus more followers, however, you can continue to build followers organically. You need to keep your visitors and followers engaged with good content as well as interaction. You need to reply and react with comments, if someone asks a question, you need to answer it.
