Volatility Indices are instruments that moves and behaves like the currency pairs they obey the market structure and have volatility depending on the pair you choose, there is Volatility 25, 50, 75 and 100 and they all have variety volatilities and you can decide to trade any based on your risk appetite.
To get started go to Deriv.com and register an account, it's pretty easy they just need some basic information about you and then you register with government issued ID and you're good to go.
Go to the account section and select MT5 and login credentials will be sent to your mail and you can login and select Volatility Indices in the instrument list.
NB: You can start trading demo to have a feel of the instrument and it's inherent movement.
