We all know what money is and we all know what money can do . Majority of us here have a different view of money , some persons view money as a medium of exchange , some also view money as a means of accumulating wealth , and also others on the other hand views money as a medium of settling debts , also a medium on which properties and assets that we desire and want could be acquired , finally some people also view money is The Root of All evil . Personally I view you money as a medium in which prestige and respect could be earned and also a medium on which an individual can enjoy the good things of life . But have you ever thought about what it would be like if money wasn't brought into existence .

First of all it will be so critical and uneasy for individual to accumulate wealth and also it will be so hard for individuals to fend for their material and physical needs in which they want and desire . Initially before money was brought into existence human beings usually practice the commerce art of trade by barter . And by definition , trade by barter simply means the exchange of goods for goods . One of the serious and main problems of the trade by barter system is usually the double coincidence of wants . And what that means simply means is that , if you are in need of rice and you have beans to exchange for the rice , you must ensure to look for someone who is in need of beans and has rice to exchange for your beans . You all would agree with me that , that indeed was so critical and a lot of people found this system of living very uneasy . It was definitely and absolutely a huge impact to the world , that money was brought into existence .

The usage of money is actually one thing everyone in the world today know how to use very well this is because money is a very important and valuable tool that every individual must know how to use and must know how to achieve . Just like it already mention if money wasn't an existing human beings will still be exchanging goods for goods which totally means that we will still be in the system of trade by barter . By definition a trade by barter system simply refers to a type of system where individuals do not use money rather they exchange goods for goods that is if an individual have plantain but yet in need of beans he must find someone who is in need of plantain and has beans to exchange . One thing we must understand about the trade by barter money system was that it was totally cumbersome and unbearable for an individual to satisfy his needs and wants due to the fact that there was always the problem of double coincidence of wants .
