Does survey sites really pay,pls if yes indeed information on such site that pay

I have been in one before but nothing to show for it ,it wasted all.my time and that has influencedy decision about chosen a paid survey site because most of them are simple scam a that was internet subscriptions and peoples time without any single benefits pls if u have a good site that pays do well to update so that people like me can have the information
