A structured data is a standardized format that helps search engines understand webpage content such as ratings, reviews, product information, event details and recipes. If implemented correctly, it can show rich snippets in search results which will increase visibility of the website. The steps to add structured data for rich snippets include finding out which parts of your site could use improvements; deciding what type of schema markup would be best for those areas; applying the appropriate codes using either microdata, RDFa or JSON-LD; testing everything through Google’s Rich Results Test tool etc. One must keep track of how these things are doing after setting them up so as to identify where more clicks are coming from than others.
