The translator requirement is beyond English; a global market accepts all languages; even Google Adsense is not limited to English. However, currently English is the common medium globally due to its influence since World War 2.
Political Justification:
Due to American dominance in the world, most people use English as their main foreign language for international communications. For example, El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele is using English to promote Bitcoin globalization, despite the fact that his main opponent is the United States.
Business Reason:
Most of the important revenue-making companies like Meta (parent of Facebook, Instagram, etc.), Alphabet (parent of Google), etc. are American, and their main business language is English. So, most of the translators are required to have a good command of English. For example, globalisation is happening from Chinese to English, Hindi to English, Spanish to English, etc.
