Is It True That Money Can’t Buy Happiness?

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a lot of other things.

And as a result, we've all been conditioned to think that money is what will make us happy. But the truth is that money is simply a tool and like any tool, it's up to you how you use it.

If you're feeling anxious or stressed out about your finances, it's okay to take a step back and evaluate your priorities (and maybe even ask for help). If you find yourself thinking "I'll be happier if I just bought a new pair of shoes," take a deep breath and remember: Happiness isn't about what you have in your possession; it's about who you are and how you choose to live with those things.

It's true that money can't buy happiness but it can help provide the freedom necessary for finding happiness in other ways. A little extra cash can go a long way toward making sure that everything else in life is taken care of from paying off debt so that you don't have to worry about getting behind on rent or car payments, to taking care of your health so that when something unexpected happens (like an illness), there is a way to solve that kind of problem with money.
