Is there any business that doesn't operate with electrical power?

Electrical power is one of the best inventions that the world has ever seen. It has become very useful in business as they are used to power equipment and make business operations more efficient. For some businesses, the cost of generating electrical power constitutes the singular biggest cost in their business operations.

While there are alternative sources of power that are cheaper, it works for some businesses and doesn't work for others. That has led to the conclusion that no business can run and operate without electrical power.

Are there any business that doesn't need electrical power to run? You can mention them in the comments section.

I have tried to think about it and I just realized that some businesses can work without electrical power but they are taken up to a very higher level if they bring in electrical power into their operations.

Let's take for instance, you can run a food restaurant without electrical power but you can imagine how much easier it would be to drop the firewood and use an electrical cooker to prepare the food. You would end up preparing the food faster and with a smaller degree of stress.

While some traditional businesses can do without electrical power, they do better with electrical power.

Almost 85% of businesses established in the world is affected by electricity and of course the establishment of electricity has make it easier for majority of businesses to adopt the use of technology in their respective ways. Businesses have also been able to even work during night times as a result of constant and powerful electricity supply. In most areas of west Africa, one of the common problems faced by business is the lack of constant electricity supply making it hard for businesses to stay for longer periods into the night which could be a good strategy for them to keep making sales.

There are business that don't depend solely on electrical power to operate like it's not a major concern if they don't have electricity when all they need is just a fan and couple of bulbs and they could decide to utilize proper ventilation system and probably close early before it's dark if they would have to need a bulb turned on. Well I doubt there is a business that does not need electricity in anyway even if it's to keep the ac and computer on.
