Missouri States planned to exempt bitcoin from property taxes. This is in a bid to encourage the bitcoin users in the state and it's also a means to promote bitcoin BTC.
House Bill 2672, if passed, would divide "digital assets" into three distinct categories based on the asset's purpose.
If a digital asset is utilized "as a means of exchange, unit of account, or store of value" and is not recognized as legal cash in the United States, it is categorized as a "virtual currency," according to the bill. The tax exemption would only apply to virtual currency.
This is indeed a great move b spearheaded by the Missouri States cryptocurrency team. The bills is very clear that the virtual could currency would enjoy tax exemption. Before now, tax evasion as been one of the important use of cryptocurrency.
This is a positive move around cryptocurrency leading country and it will cause a significant spike in the number of cryptocurrency users. The country , USA , as shown to be a supporter of the cryptocurrency space. This is not the first time that they created laws that are in support of cryptocurrency.
