This topic is a fun activity and not really for the money. In a residential village near ours they have a karaoke contest that anyone can join provided he is a resident of the village and he can pay the entry fee which is minimal and will be used for buying the trophies and also the prize money.
The event was organized by the seniors club which I think is a good one. They have something to do and they give the residents something to look forward to. The participants can be more than 50 sometimes and the hundreds of audience are packed in the basketball court. That gets me thinking of a similar contest but with a twist. How about a duet or trio karaoke contest?
