One of the investments now in the rural area is rice farming. The investor would spend for the labor and planting materials. The harvest goes to the investor since he had paid the rent to the land (used as rice field). Usually a hectare of rice field can yield 90 to 100 cavans of unprocessed rice (with hull or husk).. When milled the number of cavans or sacks will go down to 60 up to 70.
For a good farm manager he can use organic fertilizers that are almost free. The chicken manure in a livestock farm or the cattle manure are good fertilizers. With that kind of treatment on the land the harvest had drastically increased that a hectare can yield up to double of the 90 to 100 cavans or unprocessed rice. Take note that organic rice is more expensive in the market.
