A nurse is a responsible medical practitioners that assist doctors to prescribe and educate the patients on how to take drugs safely and side effect of the drugs.
They must monitor the patients in other to compliance with the rules and regulation of how to take the drugs and also they must be able to notice any side effect that may comes out of the drugs intake by the patients or any effect of terapeutic adverse and also side effect of specific drugs.
They must report any problem to the doctor in the hospital.
Nurses must be able to encourage to question any prescription which appears doubtful or illegible and out of date.
They must able to examine the expiry date of the drugs and any linkage sterile syringe or inadequately labelled drugs.
