Share Market Crash History

Two years come to mind when one thinks of stock market disasters: 1929 and 1987. Hopefully, similar crashes on the size that destroyed life savings are not going to happen in the near future. Nothing in this life is certain, with the exception of death and taxes, thus it is not assured that it won't happen.
In addition to the two primary financial collapses, there have been others. Both the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and the Asian Financial Crisis of the 1990s significantly reduced share prices.
The next significant financial market collapse may be brought on by Baby Boomers, the generation that will be most impacted by it.
Why?
because they will withdraw their money when more and more of them retire.
There will be another market crash in the future, that much is certain; investors just need to be ready for it.
These are the 100 years' most notable stock market crashes.
The Wall Street Crash of 1929
Over four years passed after the Wall Street crisis. When shares were sold to pay back debt to creditors, investors lost money since they had borrowed money to purchase the shares. The 1930s Great Depression was caused by the 1929 crash.
The Kennedy Slide, 1962
Since the 1929 crisis, the stock market has grown steadily, with the ten years before 1962 being prosperous for the stock exchange. When share prices collapsed in January, everything changed.
