Self Hosted Blog: Register a domain, purchase hosting, and install a content management system, possibly Wordpress, and start publishing your posts

Free blogs: If you are not ready to spend money, you can utilize free blogging platforms like WordPress, Blogger, Weebly, or Wix.

Free blogging sites: You can join blogging sites like Hubpages, Medium, Vocal, Publish0X, Hive Blog etc.

While the first method opens avenues for monetization, free blogs often face challenges in effective monetization. Third method is comparatively safe for beginners as you do not have to spend money, yet can make money.

Before you start, you need to understand successful blogging also demands proficiency in SEO and digital marketing.

It is better to start with free blogging using WordPress. This will give the person some ideas on what blogging is all about. Just like the poster said as well, there are still some free websites for blogging ideas. Where you will know what to write about and what to get some ideas on what to write.

Some keyword appraisal websites can give you free trial. For instance, semrush can allow you to use the website freely for 7days, though you may be limited to some option there.
