I don't think there's anything hard about making money online, it's like every other thing out there, you have to be patient and learn a skill, apply it and also build yourself a portfolio that you can use to sell what you've learnt, there other things you can start doing from the get go and make yourself some money like forum posting or micro tasks like sproutgigs.

But to be established and make good money you'll have to learn an in demand skill and market yourself out there to attract clients that'll pay you some.money

You need knowledge, skills and experience. The knowledge and skills you have should give you access to high paying jobs, and you also need to have relevant skills. For instance, you need to have coding and programming skills and knowledge, as well as experience, in order to earn well. If you can just write and nothing else, you might not be able to make good money. You will also have to work hard. You need patience because you can not start making money in one day.

These are all awesome ways to kick-start your online earning. Indeed it all starts with identifying earning methods and learning in order to gain those skills. Once you are good at it, you execute by starting to take up jobs or just doing your own projects for the sake of building a portfolio. The later is a must do for online workers, clients trust workers who have some work they can showcase as proof of skills.
