The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) has released a draft for public comments seeking approval from regulators to allow Non-Banking Members (NBMs) to trade cryptocurrencies on its platform. This comes after Israeli banks, such as Bank Leumi, began offering crypto trading services in partnership with Paxos last year.

As per the Coinpedia's latest news the proposed expansion of authorized activities for NBMs is part of TASE's efforts to stay competitive and attract new investors. If approved, this move would make TASE the first stock exchange in the Middle East to facilitate crypto trading. The public comments period will last until March 31, 2023.
