Three Passive Income Sites for Writers

If you are a writer looking forward to build passive income, here are three sites you can try.

Kindle Direct Publishing: This is a self-publishing program from Amazon. You will have to publish ebooks or paper backs on this platform and you earn royalties from your ebooks and paper backs. Interestingly, the platform allows you to publish the same manuscript as an ebook as well as paperback. If you cannot write an ebook, you can hire a ghostwriter through freelancing platform and publish these books in your own name.

Hubpages: This is an article publishing site. If you publish searchable content that can draw a lot of search traffic, you can easily make passive income form hubpages. You can just publish your articles and forget about the site. You will receive automatic payment.

Wattpad: You will be working little harder on this site compared to the above two because you need to be somewhat active to build readership. However, once you have managed to build readers, you can earn passive income.

Other sites that need mention are Medium and Vocal. These sites pay $4 on average per 1000 views on your article. You don’t have to do anything except publish your articles. You can also try Smashwords or Barnes and Nobles for publishing ebooks.

Thank you so much for putting out this content here where we as writers can get knowledge on ways that we can add to the ones we have through which we can make money online.

But one thing which I don't agree with is the fact that you said they are passive income sites. Let us take Amazon kdp as an example and analyse. In Amazon kdp, the writer will have to keep putting bokks there whether kindle versions, paper back and etc and you will earn when they are sold out.

You will have to keep writing and publishing. It could be a passive income in the sense that what you put out today will be there forever and can be sold at any moment and you will have you gain from it. But books lose relevance with time and at times what you sold well today won't sell tomorrow and your previously published books may bit bring in much.

Yes article writing on a lot of sites is more of one having passive income, because as far as your past articles or books are getting sales or views you would be making money. it is good for one to always to find ways or methods that will work effectively for the,. I like Kindle Direct Publishing since has a self-publishing program . As you publish your ebooks or paper backs on this platform you earn royalties for a long time from their sales from your ebooks and paper backs.

Yeah Hubpages is another passive income article publishing site. You get paid by the views your articles generate . You can just publish your articles and drive more traffic to it to get more views. The site is a legit one and payment is sure as well. It is also applicable to Wattpad. You just have to be a good writer and you can make passive income here too.

Amazon Kindle direct publishing remains one of the best ways in which you can make some good amount of money for yourself as a writer online passively.

There are several people I know that have ventured into the business and of course they're making a lot of money for themselves. The beautiful thing about it is that after writing your book you just have to submit the manuscript and the back cover and Amazon will help you to publish waiting.

Meanwhile, it is not that easy to make money from it because you must have proper knowledge of how to do keyword research so that people can be able to see your book and purchase.

Keyword research is one of the major things you need to master well if you really want to become successful on the platform. you also need some level of consistency because becoming successful on any platfform online is not easy.
