A very lucrative career especially for a male student is veterinary medicine majoring in race horses. Doctors of race horses are paid so well especially in foreign countries like Japan and Australia where thoroughbred horses are being bred for racing. In our country horse racing is also an industry. In fact, my wife’s family is into horse racing. At present her brother and nephew are horse trainers and another nephew is a star jockey. That is why I know the goings on in the horse racing industry that the veterinarian is earning a high salary particularly if he is a specialist in race horses.
