. Whales are moving out of exchange platforms and Hodling their Bitcoins in wallets where they have private key access.
It is a discussable point if one should Invest in Exchange or Keep in wallet? There are always diffrent answers.
Investing in exchange platforms was once thought to be related to the declining value of bitcoin. Investors were advised to withdraw their Bitcoins from the exchange, as low liquidity in the market will rise the price.
People are currently withdrawing bitcoins, but this is not because there is a desire to decrease the liquidity of BTC on exchanges; rather, it is because "Not your keys, not your coins". The most important reason is high APR paying platforms locking investors' assets which has made crypto Hodlers insecure with centralised platforms.
Platforms are suffering due to this, recently Binance has introduced "zero fees" for BTC trading in its platform, this is an attempt to stop people moving out their bitcoins.
