MetaTrader, also called MT4, is a trading platform commonly used by many online foreign exchange commercial traders. It was originally developed by MetaInsurance Software and released in August 2021. The software, however, is not released commercially to individual traders who get the software from professional forex brokers.

The disadvantage of MetaTrader - One of the disadvantages of MetaTrader is the lack of automated trading features and flexibility. Many other forex brokers such as MegaDroid, FAP Turbo, and Forex Yard are fully automated trading platforms that require traders to configure and set up their strategies, trade on an instant basis, and exit their positions at the end of each day. These are the characteristics of full-service trading platforms such as MegaDroid and FAP Turbo. These are also the characteristics of most trading platforms for hedge funds and other large financial institutions.

Advantages of MetaTrader​

1. Metatrader has numerous advantages over the competing forex trading platforms widely used by traders. Among these advantages are that it is the only trading platform widely available to private traders, is available at no cost to traders, and is a robust and flexible trading platform. In addition to these benefits, MetaTrader is also the only foreign exchange broker that offers a demo account. This allows new traders to become familiar with the trading platform before risking their own money.​
2. MetaTrader, on the other hand, offers the ability to configure the system so that it operates in a manner similar to a traditional online forex broker such as a typical online brokerage firm. This feature is known as "probability management", which allows traders to set up the MetaTrader platform so that they can maximize their potential return on their investments.​

The meta trader 4 and 5 has there various advantage and disadvantage, but for me I prefer the both of them when it comes to trading, I have never for once came across any thing that will contribute failure or something bad that makes me to like the both of them, but if you won't mind my asking apart from mt4 and mt5 is there any trading app? I believe there are another trading app and site but I think those site will be as legit as mt4 or mt5, what do you think, I await your response on this.

Alpari meta4 and meta5 are both forex trading platforms that can be used to trade in the forex market, they have helped traders to carry out seem less trading for years now.
