I've never written a sales letter. But I understand that writing a sales letter is difficult, and producing a winning sales letter is even more difficult. Many sales managers are baffled as to why they can't seem to get it right. To answer this question, they should put themselves in the shoes of the customer and ask what "value" they will receive from reading this sales letter. Remember the word "benefit," which is at the heart of this debate. Many salespeople scrounge information from several sources and mash it together to make a jumble of a sales letter. They practically hurl everything at people, and then they get exactly what they deserve: immediate rejection.
So What Should Be In A Sales Letter
Always keep in mind that a sales letter is only effective if you have a product to sell and an offer to make. Your product or company should not be introduced in a sales letter. Remember that every word in your sales letter is significant, and you should not waste a single one that could divert your potential customer's attention. They are more interested in an offer or a benefit to them than in the attributes of your goods.
Consider the perspective of the buyer and ask yourself, "Why should I read the letter?" Is there anything you can offer me that I can't refuse? Can you persuade me that this is a good deal?
So That's my thoughts, Note I haven't written a sales letter but it's pretty obvious what to write
