When it comes to blogging, we need traffic no doubt, every blogger has his or her own way of dragging organic traffic to his or her blog. I've seen some who uses traffic exchange sites to attract traffic to their blog, which they claimed it is better traffic to blog sites, and not robotic type. Some use social medias, forums promoting their blog, by sharing backlinks to each post they make on any of them, simply to get views from it and regular visitors too. And Also, others work more on their website contents, by being specific on SEO related contents, in order to list on search engines to bring in steady organic traffic to their site. We know such method takes time to hit to the targeted destination, but it isn't impossible too, to get our blog getting good number of search engine results. just that it takes time to build up, but when it finally builds, it becomes a household name towards gaining much more organic traffic directly from search engines.
