I attended and was the host of a school end-of-year party. I was shocked at what I witnessed there. The parents, students, and staff were not offered anything to eat or drink during the course of the party. To make it worse, the monies the students were appreciated with as they did their presentations were collected by the school and none were given to the students. I heard that the owner of the school is a very stingy man.
This action is very bad. There is a point where the owner of a business should express generosity to its stakeholders. They are the ones who make the whole thing work. Word on the street has it that not fewer than 10 parents are withdrawing their children from that school. Always being tight fisted with your business stakeholders would ultimately lead to losses. It is a sign of appreciation to be generous with the people that make your business tick.
