Literally so many reasons exist why an employee or worker in a particular business firm or organization might want to quit his or her job and some of the reason include. A situation whereby the employee or worker is not get paid reasonably enough especially if he or she has to work extra time or extra hard. Also an employee my choose to lose or give up on his or her job if he or she is not giving the chance of growth that is to say being promoted after serving for many years in a particular job category. An employee might also choose to change his or her job if the environment in his or her present job is not conducive for him or her to consistently carry out his or her job activities.

Discrimination bias and bad technology implementation can also add to the situation whereby an employee refuses to work in a particular business environment anymore.

Employees can also quit their jobs not necessarily because of anything negative but also positive. They can quit their jobs because they want to further their education or because they have to move out to another location.

I have had female colleagues who quit working with us because they got married and would have to go stay with their husbands. Be it as it may. It is always a challenging time for a business organization when employees quit their jobs.

As for the negative reasons that make employees quit, businesses should do more to retain their employees. Retention of employees gives a business stability.
