When making career choices, people always encourage others to choose careers that they have passion for. While that career choice advise is always most times very sincere, they might not always be the best because of certain conditions.
Some passions can't be easily monetized in a particular location. That typically means that choosing a career path in that line won't give you patronage that would give you funds to survive.
Take for instance, one has a passion for understanding insects and maximizing them to the benefits of man and builds up a career in that and he is based in my country or any other African country. Who would need his services enough to pay him. That career might make him rich in some other climes. That's why you would need to consider the clime you are operating in when choosing a career. Drop your passion if it would not sell in that location and pick a career that is in demand and would pay you.
