When it comes to job interviews it can be one time that anxiousness sets in. But as a would be employee you would need to comport yourself to answer the questions thrown and argue out your points logically. But this will not be possible when you are trembling, scare or shaking. Doing these will send a wrong or negative signal to the panelists that you might not be the right candidate afterall especially if the job will be about placing you in a leadership position.

So how do you overcome this issue and comport yourself to show that you are ready for the job if employed

Start by maintaining a eye contact: You would need to look at the penalist to show that you believe in yourself and you can't be easily intimidated by people.

Avoid fidgeting: No body is going to bite you so avoid fidgeting it looking scare. Keep your face up and position well on your sit. Show that you have the confidence to help the company achieve it's goals

Take some breathing moments: You need to breathe and avoid looking tense. Just let everything flow naturally.

One of the ways to losing in an interview is to avoid been timid. You should be equipped around the job you're applying for. If you do not have the knowledge around the job that you are applying for, there is every possibility that fears will overcome you and you will not do well in the interview. So, it is in the best interest to understand the job that you are applying for very well before applying. This is very important because the questions that should will be asked at the interview will rally round the duties or functions of the job that you have applied for. Once you can overcome this, the possibilities of passing the interview is very high. Otherwise, if you don't have the knowledge around the job that you applied for, there is every possibility that you will fail and the chances of failing is very high too. Another way to pass your interview effectively is by self confidence. If you do not to boost your self-esteem before going for an interview, you could fail even if you know a lot about the position that you are applying for. You must try as much as possible to have enough confidence before you go for an interview.

Your last line is apt self confidence is key when you are faced with a panel that wants to know how good you would be for a job you are requesting for. Exuding confidence can land you your dream job. No good company will want to employ any timid or shy person. I used to write that there are some characteristics we need to let go as humans, though it might be part of us but you need to start fighting it especially if there are going to block your chances at success. Being shy or timid doesn't earn one any accode or award so you need to dump them even if they are part of you. Shake them off since you wouldn't gain anything positive by having them.

As you rightly people people needs to start building their self esteem and confidence level to become successful especially at work. A lot of duties need one being in communication with the next person , such will never happen if you don't have faith in yourself.

So anytime you are called for an interview put up your best self, don't worry, feet or fidget you can do it, always remember that other people are doing and they are winning.

1. Be prepared

It's natural to be nervous when you're going into an interview, but don't let that get in the way of preparing! Confidence comes from knowing what you have to offer and being able to communicate it well.

2. Think about your accomplishments

If you've done something that is relevant to the company or position you're interviewing for, make sure to mention it! They'll appreciate your thoughtfulness and will be more likely to hire someone who is confident in their skillset.

3. Ask questions

It's a good idea to ask questions about the company, its goals, and how they recruit candidates for new positions (or even what kind of questions they ask). This will show them that you're interested in learning more about the job and company before making a decision on whether or not to accept an offer or move forward with an interview process.

4. Smile! It shows confidence!

Your last statement as funny as it looks or sounds it is the truth. personally, I wouldn't even socialize with an applicant that is frowning. So no matter the situation at that time it is good to always show a smiling face than frowning.

So yeah a smile shows how confident one can be as such it is always good to smile when faced with those at the panel of any interview.
Another good way is to get prepared and planned on how you would be able to answer the questions thrown at you. Try to make attempt at the questions to retain your confidence. Closing your mouth might shows shyness or one being dumb. it might take just one non response to loss self confidence. The thing is that It is always easy to lose one's confidence than to lose it. So build your self esteem first then having confidence will come naturally.

Actually sometimes, getting nervous in a job interview is very possible. In almost every job interview i went for, I had to battle with shaky body and voice while talking.

There is a way out which experts recommend even though I sometimes don't find it very effective. May be it will work for you but experts say that once you are in any situation of nervousness, you need to just settle down and take 2 to 3 long deep breathes. It must not be obvious and they say that this really cures nervousness.

And one thing is the maintenance of a proper eye contact. Make sure that you have the ability to look at the right moment. Avoid putting all your eyes on the interviewer and also avoid looking away completely.

Make sure you also dress well because you will be really uncomfortable with bad dresses and this will rather add to you nervousness.
