The trend of incorporating blockchain and NFTs into video games isn't going away anytime soon. As per a study issued this week by blockchain technology Stratis and research company Opinium, 58 percent of the 197 surveyed game makers in the United States and the United Kingdom are starting to utilise blockchain features in their games. Additionally, according to the above study, 48% of such game makers use NFTs in their creations.
This demonstrates how the adoption of these components, which improve players' connections to their digital environments, is progressively making its way into popular gaming firms. Some of the major gaming companies, such as EA, feel that such technological advances will be a part of the company's destiny.And over 70% of participants have said they will explore employing these technologies for new games in the future, with 56% expecting to do so in the following 12 months, according to the study.
