Can you Stay Active regardless of Weight?

Physical activity may seem difficult if you are overweight. You may get short of breath or tire out quickly when you start some physical activity. Finding or buying the right type of clothing and equipment for exercise can also be frustrating. Likewise, you may not feel comfortable doing exercises in front of other people.

The good news is that even those people who are overweight can overcome these challenges. Not only can you stay active regardless of your weight, but you can also have fun and feel great at the same time. Can everyone be active, you may think. Research shows that physical activity is safe for almost everyone.

The health benefits of physical activity far outweigh the risks involved in doing the same. There are many physical activities that are safe for almost all people. If you have trouble moving or keeping your balance while standing, or if you get out of breath easily, talk to a health care professional before you start.

You can also talk to a health care professional, if you are unsure about your health, if you are concerned that physical activity is not safe for you, or if you have any chronic illness such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, bone or joint problem, such as pain in your back, or knee.

Yes, there are many ways to stay active. I see many people who are active and they also fat. I think good and healthy food is necessary for it.A person who exercise daily and not become couch potato will be more active.

I know of several fat people who are very active. In fact, one worker that I usually hire is overweight. When he starts work on our garden I would see the sweat to be forming on his brow that a bit later his shirts would be dripping with sweat. But I admire his physical energy because he would be working on the chore for hours and all he would ask is a cold glass of water (that is aside from the snack that we provide). He has the strength to lift heavy weights even if he is just about 5 feet 5 inches. His muscles are okay but I still say that he is overweight although not really obese.

My own physique is ideal because I am lean and probably I wouldn't be very active if I would weigh 20 pounds more than my ideal weight now which is 150.

I was watching tv once and saw group of overweight women who had their own physical exercise routine. So yes, overweight people can actually engage in physical activity as much as other people can. I totally agree with you that those problems should first be checked by an healthcare professionals. Then they can connect you with physical fitness specialists to advice you on the best physical activities that best suits your condition. Being overweight should never be an excuse for not being physically active. And you should also work on your self esteem such that you don't get affected with being ashamed of working out with other people.

You cannot stay active regardless of the body weight. Obesity or heavy weight causes a lot of diseases to the body system. These diseases are hypertension, as a result of high level of cholesterol in the blood stream which can lead to stroke and paralysis of body system. Consult your doctor immediately when you notice that the body is being overweight examine yourself to do with balance everyday to know your body body mass weight.
