Celebrating failures- A good business management strategy?

In a world where failure is seen as a plague, it is often said that success has many friends. Failure is a lonely orphan. Most business organizations dread talking about failed projects and attempts, talk more of celebrating it.

But challenging normal business organisational management, I can boldly state that publicly celebrating your failed endeavours in your organisation can have its benefits.

It encourages experimentation. It is only experimentation that can breed innovation in an organisation. When staff are not scared to leave their comfort zone in handling of organisational tasks, such a company would have several alternatives to tackle such tasks. And that can only be birthed in an organisation where failed projects are not brooded over.

Celebrating failed attempts by employees also makes employees not to enter shady deals to hide their failures. They know it is not the end of their job because they failed and so, no news to start acting unethical.

Lastly, celebrating failures gives you the chance to learn and pick the takeaways.

Instead of chastising as a business owner, manager or leader, why don't you give a pat on the back to staff when they fail? It would be better off for the company if you do.
