From my perspective, one major reason why we have few youth getting involved in farming as a career is because they have the perception that farming is outdated or it is less profitable when it's compared to other professions. Additionally, It's worth mentioning that modern farming practices have actually evolved significantly and this offers opportunities for innovation and also for sustainable practices. To be honest, there are couple of challenges associated with farming and theee are unpredictable weather patterns, high initial investment costs, and long working hourr. These are the things that can deter young people from pursuing farming as a career.

As someone who have heard from the farmers , I realize that there's a lack of awareness about the importance of agriculture and lots of people are not really aware of its role in ensuring food security and environmental sustainability in the country .
