A Zippia survey carried out in 2021 that included 1000 participants across the United States revealed that 50 percent of workers dislike the job they are doing.

If you are a person who is not satisfied with your job, what should you do if you are on a job you are not passionate about? The answer to this problem is to learn how to work on a job that is not your passion and continues to make yourself ready for your dream job. So, how do you do this?

The first thing you need to do is make yourself fit for the job you are doing, and continue building your skills and expertise to excel on the job. This will allow you to make some money and build savings and investments.

When you have savings and investments, you can quit your job and work for your dream. Since you have savings and investments, it will help you survive even when your dream job is not making you money for some time.

It's never easy working on a job you have no passion for, though there are lots of people out there working in jobs and places they have no passion for, simply due to reasons like unemployment and all that. They try to put in their best simply cause they need to earn a living, notting more. Though there are cases where people tend to grow passion along the line,

it is sometimes depressing to find yourself in a job or environment that you don't just like the job. But if you can't get anything else at that point you can still go ahead and enjoy the job. First thing is to focus on the pay that you are making money off it. I know of people that didn't love their jobs but what kept them going still they found something they liked was the money.

So if you are paid well, then be motivated by the money that at the end of the day you are getting paid. if you can add some spice to the job by finding a little bit of leisure that will help you relax with the job. You can play music while working. You can be browsing while working. Just anything to take your mind away from the stress that comes with the job. You would survive this way.

It is very true that so many people work in jobs that are not their passion. Which happens because there are scarce employment opportunities and you may miss out on jobs that you love to do.

So when you land on a job that you are not really passionate about, you just have to do it so that you can earn money and afford a living. You also get a chance to save and invest money for the future.

In order to survive through a job you are not passionate about, you have to do this;

1. Have a positive mindset towards the job - your thoughts and actions towards the job need to be positive so that you can have good results.
2. Use the opportunity to learn new skills - the job may not be related to what you love to job but you can gain some good skills out of it.

Recently, it seems there are more job hunters than the available jobs and most graduates of colleges and universities find themselves having to resort of the odd job here and there to make ends meet.

It's a good topic here. To work at a job that is not your passion,you first have to change how you think about it. Consider that it is your means of income for a while, then commit to doing it well enough so you can earn enough money to leave it.

Learning the skills necessary to help you do a better job can also help to enjoy working on it, as it gets frustrating if you can't get things done right especially if you have a boss. If you have good relationship with your coworkers, it can also make things easier for you.

As much as you can, take a break when you feel frustrated and do something to unwind. Clear you mind during free time by engaging in activities you enjoy so you will be stress free when you return.
